Who can participate in raffles?
It is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to participate in eRaffs raffles as these products are classed as gambling products. Therefore anyone placing a raffle order with us must be over the age of 18 – we will request your date of birth either when creating an account or if placing an order, further checks will be made on delivery of the item to ensure eRaffs and its sellers are working in accordance with the law.
Products with age restrictions
It is illegal to sell products that contains nicotine, alcohol to all individuals under the age of 18, this includes knifes, firearms or any product which states on the packaging over 18 only. Therefore anyone placing an order with us must be over the age of 18 – we will request your date of birth either when creating an account.
Age verification
When creating an account with eRaffs we will request your full name, billing address and date of birth. This must be entered as it would appear on your driver’s license, electoral roll or used for a UK credit card. This information must be entered correctly as we will use it to verify your age before delivering any goods.
To securely verify your age eRaffs use a leading credit reference agency, please note that is purely an ID check and not a credit check so will not affect your credit score in any way.
If for any reason eRaffs are unable to verify your age automatically after purchase a member of our team will contact you in order for you to verify your age by another means.
